10 items or less

                                                             HI EVERYONE!

I'm so excited to show you another 10 items or less card! This time around I have exactly 10 items

I loved this stamp for 2 reasons...#1 The little boy fishing is so stinkin cute #2 The stamp was $1.99 at Hobby Lobby. I like to get a good deal :)  (These are your first 2 items)

Now add colored pencils, edged scissors, and a glue stick (now your up to 5 items)
Last but not least some paper and ink (Now your at 10 items)

After i stamped on the blue paper i colored him in using these colored pencils and if you notice i added some grass on the left and some water and waves on the right
After I was finished coloring i used the same ink that I stamped with to run over the edges and corners of the paper
See the difference!? Looks good right?

Now take your card and the dot paper and cut a 1/2 inch and use your fun scissors on one of the edges and glue on the INSIDE of the card (As you can see on the right side) Take the same scissors and cut 1/4 inch off your card (On the left)

I took the striped paper and ripped it. Don't worry about ruining it! The more messy the edge is the better it looks
The last and final step is add the picture to the card. I don't like things centered so I glued it a little to the left BUT it would look cute wherever you put it
FINISHED! Just remember when you need a card don't buy...DIY! In under 10 minutes and 10 items or less you can make something memorable

Make A Card:10 items or less

Hello Crafters!

Us three chicks decided to start a series on our Blog. We haven't decided what we should call it officially...so lets start it off with Make a card in 10 items or less!

This is especially good for those of you new in making cards or crafting in general. Today we have a card made not only with 10 items or less but also under 10 minutes. Cool, right? Yeah, we think so. Here are the two cards made with one sheet of colored cardstock and some stickers:

Stickers.  Who doesn't love them?  So grab your favorite set of stickers and follow along to see how you can make yourself a cute card or two.
Here we are using a sheet of stickers that have some bright happy colors.  So I pulled out a sheet of your standard size colored cardstock.  Now we cut our cardstock in half.  By doing this we now have two card bases, which equals two cards.

Next, let's pull out a stamp.  I used this Impression Obsession background stamp but any stamp would work with this.  I just stamped the card base with green ink.  By doing that you get a tone-on-tone look.  Gives us a little something for the background.  I only did this on one of the cards.   I even pulled out one of my border punches to give it a little "something".

When I work with stickers I like to stick them on black cardstock and then cut around them.  Just because it gives the stickers a nice border and helps them to stand out.  Notice how I did that with this Hello Sticker.

Are you keeping track of the supplies we are using so far?  Just a few more things used for these cards:

Yah!  How much more simple can it get?  With just a few supplies we were able to make everyday cards for everyday people or as one of our Chicks (Hannah) says: Sticker-rific cards..ha ha

Thank you for visiting us today!

First Project Share!!!

Hello Everyone!

We chicks are really hoping to provide some inspiration and ideas for those of you who love to be creative.  If nothing else, you will most certainly be entertained.  So let's get started......

We are super duper excited to provide our first Card Process Video.  Today we want to introduce a stamp line that your local Hobby Lobby or Michael's is carrying.  It's a rubber stamp called "Mimi".  In this card video we are using the Pampered Mimi.  Is she not the cutest thing??  Who doesn't love to be pampered?

Now for those of you who do not know already, Michael's coupons can be used at Hobby Lobby.  Yep, you heard me correctly.  Just take your Michael's coupon (or your phone coupon) in to Hobby Lobby and they will honor it.  So that is how Pampered Mimi and I met :)

Here is the card we will be making today:

If you want to see how it was made then just click hereCard Process using Pampered Mimi Stamp

We chicks are looking forward to sharing our projects with you.  Thank you all for your support and patience as we work on making this blog a fun spot to stop by.  Please feel free to comment on our blog or email us with any suggestions or questions....or just tell us what's up!

Lots of hugs,
Hannah, Joyce and Marisol
